Accounts Payable Clerk

Job Summary: Under the direction of the Controller, this position is responsible for providing Accounts Payable support.  Utilizing established procedures, works with general supervision to process/maintain accounts payable information on a daily basis.  Provides needed monthly information for monthly closing.

Essential job functions:

  • Matches invoices to receiving documents.
  • Assists in maintaining the Accounts Payable schedule to ensure received items are paid in a timely manner.
  • Enters invoices into the system and initiates payments via the weekly check runs and wires, as needed.
  • Files invoices and receiving documents.
  • Types, records and files manual checks.
  • Processes blanket orders.
  • Must have ability and desire to work well with others.
  • Meets attendance requirements.
  • Performs other duties as deemed necessary.
  • Proven problem solving abilities (needed to solve issues such as incorrect receipts and missing information).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.


  • Minimum of two (2) years strong experience in Accounts Payable preferred.

Pay rate: $16/hr. – $17/hr. depending upon experience.

This is a temp to hire position. EXCELLENT benefits upon hire.
