HR Generalist

Hours: Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm or 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Pay rate: $50,000/yr. – $58,000/yr.
The HR Generalist will:
  • Process bi-weekly payroll and off cycle bonus pays.
  • Maintain HRIS with data entry, new hires, terminations, pay changes, etc.
  • Recruiting and staffing.
  • Review applications and conduct phone screens.
  • Coordinate on site interviews, drug testing and background screenings.
  • FMLA and ADA requirements.
  • Ensure employees have completed the proper documentation for quality events.
  • Employee engagement programs such as yearly wellness programs.
  • Responsible for benefits administration including provide benefit reviews with onboarding, provide benefit summaries and enrollment packets, process time enrollment, respond to questions and concerns, conduct benefit roster audits.
  • Review, revise and develop job descriptions.
  • New hire orientation/on-boarding coordination of human resource requirements.
  • Develop consistent human resource practices and processes.
  • Prepare performance evaluations for managers.
  • Investigate employee issues and conflicts and bring to resolution.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Train management staff based on the needs of the organization.
  • Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their responsibilities.
  • Create a compensation strategy based on market research and pay surveys.
  • Ensure the company’s compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Implement and administer employee policies and procedure.
