CAREER OPPORTUNITY WITH ROOM TO GROW.  Currently seeking a Front Office Coordinator for Outpatient Programs located in the suburbs of Pittsburgh. This position will be responsible for coordination and completion of all medical office front office duties.  Other responsibilities include billing submission, A/P, appointment management, client/patient management, completion of all required documentation and other duties as assigned. This position reports to the VP of Clinical Operations.

Position Requirements:

·        Must have AR and AP experience. Experience with Quickbooks a plus!

·        Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant in a medical office

·        Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures

·        Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines

·        Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word)

·        Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work

·        Attention to detail and problem solving skills

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·        Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task Managing clinical schedules

·        Works collaboratively with physicians, clinicians, leadership, and health professionals to accomplish organization goals

Position Responsibilities:

·        Scheduling patient appointments, check in and discharge

·        Verify Insurance eligibility and demographics

·        Collecting copays, deductibles, and outstanding balances at time of service

·        Experience in insurance coding, and billing charge entry a plus

·        Payroll submission

·        Coordinating updates and troubleshooting with EHR software vendor

·        Managing A/P

·        Running monthly patient responsibility, referral, and AR reports

·        Enforcing HIPAA and OSHA compliance

·        Communicating with outsourced billing company

·        Credentialing, filing, managing insurance company contracts, managing agreements with outside vendors

High School diploma; Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

1-3 years’ experience in a practice/healthcare setting or equivalent combination of education and experience
Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License
