We are looking for a Med B Pharmacy Technician to join our team on a fully remote, temp-to-hire basis. In this role, you will handle various assignments with urgency and precision, ensuring timely completion and maintaining a professional business image in all interactions.

Job Title: Pharmacy Technician (Temp to Hire)

Location: Remote (Candidates must reside in Pennsylvania, Ohio, North Carolina, Florida, Illinois, Texas, Arizona)

Shift:

• Training: Monday to Friday – daylight hours
• Must be able to work flexible hours between 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM CT, Monday to Friday, with alternating Saturday/Sunday shifts.

Compensation:

• Pay rate is $19.14 per hour.
• Weekly pay schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Takes in-coming calls from members, providers, etc. providing professional phone assistance to all callers.
• Maintains complete, timely and accurate documentation of all approvals and denials, and transfers all clinical questions/judgement calls to the pharmacist.
• Perform various pharmacy assignments requiring attention to detail and the ability to meet set timelines.
• Project a professional business image through phone interactions and internal communication.
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
• Navigate and operate multiple computer programs, web-based systems, and DOS-based systems efficiently.
• Adapt to system changes and upgrades as needed.

Requirements:

• Must have a Pharmacy Technician license.
• Experience in a role requiring maintenance of patient confidentiality.
• Proficient in computer skills, including navigating Windows-based environments, toggling between multiple programs, and web-based systems.
• Minimum 1 year experience required in a customer service position with high volume call center experience; preferably in healthcare, social services or similar service position.
• 6+ months of customer service, pharmacy, or related experience.
• Verifiable High School diploma or GED
