The Packer is responsible for processing orders through packaging equipment according to specifications notated on order tickets and within designated demand times. The Packer is responsible to quickly perform quality assurance checks for product and weight. Basic requirements include basic mathematical skills, computer skills, product knowledge. Must be comfortable working in a cold environment (32 degrees).
Pay rate:
- $16/hr.
- Weekly Pay
Hours/Location:
- Monday – Friday, 8:00AM-5:30PM
- Onsite Position – Northwood, OH
Job Description:
- Responsible for managing or performing work associated with converting raw materials and components into finished goods.
- General production manufacturing work.
- Assembling finished components or parts into finished products.
- Process manufacturing batches of bulk materials/ingredients, including mechanical processing (e.g., mixing, grinding, separating, filtering, etc.)
- Packaging materials or finished goods into containers for the purpose of protection, display, and handling.
- Operation of meat packing machines, boxing products, scan guns.
Required Job Qualifications:
- Must be comfortable working in a cold area – temp will be 32 degrees.
- Steel Toed Shoes/Boots are required.
- Computer Skills
- Basic mathematical skills
- Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
