Job Title: Quality Control Manager – Food Manufacturing (Direct Hire)
Location: Robinson Township / Crafton, PA (Onsite)
Pay: $65,000–$90,000/year (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Now hiring an experienced Quality Control Manager for a food manufacturing facility in the Robinson Township / Crafton area! This is a direct hire opportunity. The QC Manager will oversee product quality and compliance, lead audit and regulatory processes, support R&D, and manage a small quality team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coach a team of 3 direct reports
• Inspect product quality and ensure adherence to company standards
• Document and report production issues; work with leadership to implement solutions
• Provide administrative support to the R&D team for sample formulation and custom products, including tracking and analyzing results
• Serve as the point of contact between production coordinators, buyers, quality, and R&D on product changes
• Track and report quality control findings to management regularly
• Maintain and update all formulas in the company’s production software
• Enforce GMPs daily; identify areas for improvement, update documentation, and train staff accordingly
• Develop and review product and process specifications; collaborate with shift supervisors on training and implementation
• Maintain product data in Excel and production systems, including specs, packaging, labels, and ingredient/vendor records

Qualifications:

• Previous management experience is required (preferably in QA/QC or production)
• PCQI certification strongly preferred
• Prior experience in food manufacturing or production quality control
• Proficient in Excel and database systems
• Strong understanding of GMPs, food safety, and regulatory requirements
• Excellent attention to detail and written communication skills
• High school diploma or GED required; degree preferred
