We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Order Selector to be a part of a great team! The ideal candidate will be responsible to hand selects orders within various warehouse environments of fluctuating temperatures, including Dry, Cooler, and Freezer, operates assigned SOS unit to create labels, correctly places labels on product, stacks product on pallets in accordance with proper selecting procedures (e.g., no stacking heavy-on-light, labels facing out, etc.), stages pallets for loading on proper dock locations, stretch-wraps product on loading dock, maintains and safely operates all assigned equipment, including but not limited to pallet jack, SOS unit, and personal protective equipment, and performs pre and post-trip inspections of equipment.
Pay rate:
- $18/hr.
- Weekly Pay
Hours/Location:
- Sunday – Friday Start time 6:30PM – No set end time.
- Overtime is required – up to 10 hours per week as needed
- Onsite Position – Pompano Beach, Florida
Job Description:
- Responsible for operating an electric pallet jack or forklift.
- Select the correct products from warehouse racking.
- Label product using SOS label technology.
- Palletize product as it is selected to build customer orders.
- Deliver product to the dock in a safe and efficient manner.
Required Job Qualifications:
- Must have at least 1 year experience operating an electric pallet jack.
- Comfortable and read for cold and wet conditions.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Lifting up to 100lbs. regularly.
