Join us as a Warehouse Packer, where your contributions will help deliver quality products to our customers while being part of a supportive team! Day to day duties for the Warehouse Packer include: Packing meat, sorting meat by sizes, and palletizing cases.
Pay rate:
- $18.00/hr.
- Weekly Pay
Hours/Location:
- Monday – Friday 6:30 AM – Until production is finished (approximately 10 hours/day). **OT- average varies around 5 to 10 hours a week
- Onsite position – Position is located in Hampshire, IL
Job Description:
- Performs general manual labor tasks including but not limited to: sorting meat, packing, boxing, and/or palletizing.
- Assist with a variety of additional functions and manual labor tasks as needed.
- Will be operating a pallet jack.
Required Job Qualifications:
- Must have pallet jack experience.
- Has knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety policies.
- Must be comfortable working in a cold and wet environment.
- Comfortable working with meat of all species (chicken, beef, pork, veal, lamp, etc.)
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Ability to lift up to 60lbs. required.
- Must possess attention to detail and ability to adapt.
- Steel toed boots are required.
