The Medical Customer Service Representative will work closely with the RFI Team primarily responsible for aiding incoming day-to-day activities. The RFI Team handles time-sensitive requests required by law or in support of legal processes external to the company. Must maintain compliance at all times with CMS and department standards.
Hours: Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm ***Position may require schedule flexibility and, in rare instances, rotations through nights, weekend and holiday coverage (HIGHLY rare and on a voluntary basis)***
***MUST: have knowledge of HIPAA as they will be dealing with confidential patient information***
Customer service focused.
Basic experience in Microsoft products including, Outlook, MSWord, and MSExcel.
Familiar with working under corporate settings as well as having basic experience with Xerox scanning.
This position also requires an extensive amount of data entry work as well as organizational skills to prioritize to work loads.
Strong telephone skills.
Ability to read and understand pharmacy/medical terminology.
Demonstrate problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
Demonstrate sense of urgency with assignments.
Strong organizational skills.
