We are seeking a highly interactive, support-focused Prior Authorization Representative to join our client’s team in Franklin, TN. This is a hybrid role requiring on-site work 3 days a week. This position plays a key role in assisting agents and customers by processing prior authorizations, explaining benefit structures, and providing clear guidance on prescription drug and Medicare-related coverage. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, delivers exceptional phone-based customer service, and can confidently manage multiple cases and systems simultaneously.

Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM, CT

Pay: $16.41/hr.

Location: Franklin, TN – Required to work 3 days on-site.

Responsibilities for the Prior Authorization Representative: 

• Processing Prior Authorizations.
• Will explain benefit structures to agents or customers.
• Handle inbound/outbound calls professionally.
• Document clearly, accurately, and consistently.
• Deliver guidance, education, and problem-solving.
• Handle multiple cases and systems at once.
• Manage multiple software tools.

Requirements: 

• Prescription Drug Reimbursement & Insurance Knowledge.
• Detail-oriented with strong organization skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have previous phone based customer service experience.
• Knowledge of Medicare benefits, enrollments and LIS assistance.
• Visual acuity to see and read fine prints and colors.
• Verifiable HS Diploma or GED – Associates degree preferred.
