The Warehouse Packer/Shipper is responsible for accurate receiving, storing and shipping of company products while ensuring operating standards of safety, sanitation, quality and productivity. Responsible for packaging lab chemical products into the final packaging configurations while ensuring that product quality is maintained and safety protocols are followed. Must be able to work in all warehouse areas as job rotation is required.
Pay rate: $18.00/hr. – Weekly Pay
Hours: Monday – Friday 7AM-3:30PM
Location: Onsite – Zelienople, PA

Duties:
- Order picking: Manages pick ticket orders; pulls warehouse items from the shelves based on number, size, color, quantity, and quality requirements; ensure orders are accurate; operate inventory management scanners, stage items electronically and physically for delivery.
- Gather packaging components, chemical/s, and dispensing equipment necessary to complete
the packaging project. - Package / Assemble / Label material as detailed on the work order while in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
- Package finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).
- Counts items that are placed into different containers.
- Stage finished product for loading.
- Shipping: Support Shipping Lead as needed. Prepare goods for shipment, including shrink wrapping pallets and loading delivery vehicles.
- Inventory management: Support Receiving Lead as needed. Receive raw materials and other goods physically and electronically, stock replenishment.
- Assist with quality control. Inspect packages to ensure they are not leaking, damaged, or
contaminated before sending product to the warehouse. - Safe & Efficient Performance: Meet warehouse safety and performance goals, maintain a high level of health and safety standards, operate handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Performs other general warehouse duties as needed, including maintaining a clean environment and workspace.
- Provide legible and accurate written information to general documentation.
Experience/Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2 – 3 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment or chemical processing
environment. - Ability to follow safe handling procedures for corrosive acids and bases.
- Good understanding of mechanical and/or electrical equipment and corrosion resistance requirements.
- Ability to maneuver heavy drums with drum truck.
- OSHA Forklift and HAZMAT certification a plus
- Experience working with warehouse technology preferred, including RF scanners.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to safely lift heavy objects (up to 75LBs) and climb 16’ rolling safety ladders.
- Must be comfortable to work in an environment where frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, dust or gases. The employee is exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals. The associate works near moving mechanical machinery and noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
